The History Center possesses a wide variety of artifacts, from textiles to furniture to farm and medical equipment.  The textile collection includes dresses, shoes, military uniforms, hats, and even Odd Fellows regalia.  Furniture includes everything from elegant pieces in the Mayowood collection to functional pieces in the Dee Cabin.  The History Center also has collections of decorative art pieces, hand tools, Red Wing stoneware, and Native American artifacts.

All of these artifacts tell stories about the history and people of Olmsted County.
