Hands-on-History School Days
Interact with historical figures and experience "hands-on" activities such as candlemaking, logging camp, swing dance and much more! Over thirty learning stations, first person stories and multicultural performances provide interactive interpretation of local, regional and national history for elementary school, middle school and home school students. The event is designed to provide a lively support for Minnesota State Curriculum Standards. Students are exposed to a variety of skills and art forms that are not commonly seen.
