Our Club’s Mission Statement

Why We are here: We are the members of the Rochester Civil War Round Table

Our Club Mission: Our club is dedicated to the study of, and the retelling of, history, specifically that of the history of the American Civil War.

As members of this club and enthusiasts about this period in our Nation's history, we are dedicated, through this study and this retelling, to keeping alive that history and the stories of those great Americans of those times.

We do this so that we and all Americans should not forget the lives that these Americans led in their time and in hope that the stories of their lives help us to gain insight into our own lives and into our own time,
