Garden Tours - "Rooted in History"

World Garden: vegetables, flowers from countries around the world.

Heritage Victory Garden: essentially an organic garden, heritage seeds.

Dyers Garden: plant that make fabric dyes.

Medicinal Garden: plants that were used as remedies for people's ills.

Guided one hour tour of all four gardens at the History Center (1195 West Circle Drive SW): $5.00 per person (minimum 20 people or $100); available summer and fall; museum self-guided tour $1.00 extra per person. reservations are required two to four weeks in advance. We have a variety of exhibits about the settlement to present.

Our decorative arts rooms house many fine pieces of antique furniture and glassware.

There are features on medicine, Saint Marys Hospital, IBM, and the 1883 Rochester tornado.

Children will love to explore the experiences of days gone by in our Hands-On Cabin.
