Minnesota Digital Library The Minnesota Digital Library (MDL)—professionals from libraries, archives, historical societies and museums across Minnesota—is creating a digital collection of the state’s unique resources and special collections.
Minnesota Reflections is the initial digitization effort of the MDL. This digitization project, begun in 2004-05, now involves more than 150 participating historical societies, special archives, libraries and other organizations including items from the collections of the History Center of Olmsted County. Digital Public Library of America The Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) brings together the riches of America’s libraries, archives, and museums, and makes them freely available to the world. It strives to contain the full breadth of human expression, from the written word, to works of art and culture, to records of America’s heritage, to the efforts and data of science. The DPLA aims to expand this crucial realm of openly available materials, and make those riches more easily discovered and more widely usable and used.
