Explore the beautiful History Center grounds as you hike or snowshoe along our trails!

1/2 Mile George Stoppel Trail
Enjoy the George Stoppel FarmsteadĀ  and woods as well as the Hadley Valley Schoolhouse. This half mile loop is great for families, beginner snowshoers, or those looking for a quick hike.

1 1/3 Mile Scenic Trail
Tour the entire 46-acre History Center grounds on this longer trail. Highlights include both the George StoppelĀ  and Ralph Stoppel Farmsteads, William Dee Log Cabin, 1860s Base Ball Field, and the Tin Smith Shop.

  • The trails are open after hours, however admission fees still apply. Please make payments Tues-Fri 9am-5pm.
  • Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children and includes access to the museum and the grounds. Admission is free for members.
