Summer Camp 2026: "A Step Back in Time"

Monday, July 20th - Friday, July 24th

The History Center Summer Camp is an interactive educational day camp designed to introduce students to everyday life in the 19th century through hands-on learning experiences. All activities are led by experienced staff in a safe, supportive environment and are tailored to each age group.

Daily program includes:

  • 1800s farmstead chores (e.g. grinding corn to feed the chickens)
  • A lesson in a one-room schoolhouse
  • Fun arts and crafts projects

Additional activities include:

  • Getting hands dirty with gardening
  • 19th century games
  • Time capsule project
  • 1860s Baseball

Schedule

  • Ages 6–10: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
  • Ages 11–15: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Daily Fee (per student)

  • $12 for members
  • $15 for non-members
  • Full Week Fee (per student)

  • $50 for members
  • $65 for non-members

Parents feel free to roam our museum hall and archives while your child is enjoying the camp.
